About FKE

French knowledge becomes useful when you can choose what fits

FKE is a decision-training tool for adults learning French and preparing for exams. It connects explanations, examples and practice so you can choose the form that fits your meaning.

The gap FKE addresses: grammar explanations are everywhere. The harder part is deciding which grammatically possible answer fits your meaning, context and intent.

What you can explore

195verbs
54concepts
298expressions
341vocabulary entries
42comparisons
59sentences

FKE’s core knowledge tools stay free. The current situation library contains 97 scenarios: 17 Free and 80 additional Study Companion scenarios. The four-week guided route is available to all learners; Study Companion adds unlimited grammar answers and additional practice.

How FKE is different

Instead of stopping at a rule, FKE connects the rule to the decision. Compare helps you separate forms that look similar. Pattern & Discourse asks you to choose language for realistic situations. Weak Spots brings back what needs another attempt.

Je lisais quand il a appelé.

The imparfait presents the activity already in progress; the passé composé presents the event that enters the scene.

About Puii

Why I built FKE

Hi, it’s Puii. FKE began while I was doing homework for my French class and had to keep searching several places just to check one thing—especially verb conjugation. I wanted one place where I could practise, check and return to earlier lessons.

After using it myself, I realised the tool could help other French learners too. FKE grew from conjugation practice into tense choice, writing and speaking situations, comparisons, saved practice and a four-week route.

FKE is built and reviewed by one person, in public. If you would like to follow everything I’m building, visit withpuii.com.
